Sepia Saturday 615 : 2 April 2022

It's a day to remember, a day dedicated to smiling faces and endless photographs, so what better subject for a Sepia Saturday theme than a good, old fashioned wedding. It may be a day to remember, but in the case of our theme image, it is the subjects of the ceremony that have been forgotten. Can there be a sadder caption for a photograph than "Unknown Wedding Party"? Well, don't be sad, Mr and Mrs Unknown, your moment in the limelight has come again and you are the stars of this week's Sepia Saturday. You can make stars of your own old images by contributing them to Sepia Saturday 615. Just post your posts and add a link to the list below. And whilst we are waiting for the speeches to end, take a look at what lies ahead.

I think I have a photo that matches this theme. Musical of course, and short.

Continuing Gerda's story. She never got married herself, but she may have been there "in the background" of a very famous wedding...

I have been MIA for a couple of weeks. I boxed myself in to a series that took more time than I really had to piece together the past few weeks. Now visiting family for a week. I hope to be back on track week after next! Trying to read some of your posts from the car. Have a good week!
