My car broke down on the way to put up this week's Sepia Saturday call - so my apologies for its late arrival and my thanks, as always, to Barbara Rogers for helping me to change the tyre. As you can see, this week on Sepia Saturday we have jumped aboard our fine modern motor car and we are about to head off somewhere or other. Here on Sepia Saturday you can follow us in your old car or go off in any direction you want to. Simply post an old photograph on or around Saturday 11 July 2026 and add a link to the list below. And then you can take a look at what is coming next on Sepia Saturday.

Sepia Saturday 833 : 4 July 2026
If you want a theme for your Sepia Saturday contribution there are plenty on offer this week. There is a bridge, of course, or to be more accurate two bridges. Stereo photographs were very popular at the beginning of the twentieth century but seem to have fallen out of fashion. No doubt you can get Artificial Intelligence to generate a 3D effect - you can probably get it to place your in an immersive environment where you feel the London drizzle whilst you stare at a four dimensional Tower Bridge. There are rivers, there are towers and there is up and there is down: there are as many themes as you want. All you need to do is to post your post on or around Saturday 4th July 2026 and add a link to the list below. Whilst you are waiting for the bridge to lift (or to lower) you might want to take a look at what awaits you on Sepia Saturday.
