Sepia Saturday 562 : 20th March 2021

Your number is up! Yes, we have graduated from a few to a lot, from three men on a boat to a crowd at a football match. The eagle-eyed amongst you will also spot an entire Scottish bagpipe band in this theme photograph along with the usual supply of hats and belted coats. There is no sign of a football, so it might be a rugby match, a polo match, a hurling match, or the world final of the tiddlywinks championships. If you are game for a go, then have a go: just post your post on or around Saturday 20th March 2021 and add a link to the list below.

Two more group shoots lay ahead before I think up some new themes, so you might want to be keeping these in mind for the next couple of weeks. Then we will move onto something different, I promise!

Stadium, spectators. pipers and more, with two instruments to identify.

I could have gone with kilts and bagpipes, or even football field events, but I have a better match for this weekend's theme. Musical of course, but short.

I didn't think I had neither bagpipers nor football players, but when I went back in my albums to the early 1970s, it turned out I did...

I had no pictures of Scots or bagpipes or crowds watching a parade in my family photo album. Still, I wanted to get started again on Sepia Saturday, so I've cheated by posting a not-new post.
It's about a love story that started when two short people could not see an event in a crowd. Their solution was novel.

Hi, Alan - to let you know that I have tried to comment on your recent Sepia Saturday post, but I got a message that my comment/email was rejected. I have not changed my email address and I am sure I have commented before on your posts, so I have idea why I hit this problem - I am not very IT savvy.
