Two women on a boat in the middle of a lake. One of the women seems to be making a determined effort to row the boat, whilst the other one seems to be resting on her laurels - or at least resting on her oar. There are all sorts of potential themes in this early twentieth century photograph - just pick your theme and post a post on or around Saturday 5th October 2019. Then all you need to do is to add a link to the list below. Whilst you rest for a while, take a look at the next couple of Sepia Saturday themes.

After my third great-grandmother Hannah sailed off into the sunset, my third great-grandfather Zebulon received his divorce decree in 1866.
I may not (probably not?) exactly match the prompt, but . . . oh well. :)
I've run out of rowboat photos, so this weekend it's saxophones instead.
Speed, Queen, Joy and Kookaburras.
Not sure I found any women on boats, but I did find some boars and paddles.
So charming.
Glad to see I'm not the only one slightly off-mark...but I did match 2 women for prompt.
A good theme for me, as I feature 200 years of textile history in my village in the Scottish Borders.
I was all set to publish this post on Thursday. However I was blocked from the site and got a message from my anti-virus programme that the it was a "dangerous site" and opening it was ill advised. I contacted my computer advisor who reassured me that if I had been using the site for many years, without any issues, it was safe to click the option "to open regardless of this warning" .
So here I am - so Alan please ignore my message on one of your other sites.
