We are all up in the air this week here on Sepia Saturday. As we trawl through the elements this month, we have worked our way around to air. Our theme photograph shows a couple of flying machines from 1910: an early aeroplane and a hot-air balloon. You can join us up in the air by posting an old photograph on or around Saturday, 24 October 2026, and leaving a link on the list below. Next week, we have a rather special element, seeing as it is Halloween: ghosts. So start looking out for those ghostly photographs now. If you want to look further ahead, you can see our November themes below. The theme for the month is “Streets Ahead.”
