Two speed boys scootering away to who knows where! This photograph reminds us that special times don't have to be high-ticket affairs surrounded by champagne and glitter; special times can just as easily be when we are enjoying ourselves. This week's Special Occasion was indeed a special one for me. For after decades of searching, I have broken through my major brick wall to discover where my grandmother was born and who was her mother. Do read her story.
Looking for identification of a bird...who hasn't come back incidentally. But then there are some old photos to share as well.
Aside from Christmas, Halloween is probably the most exciting time in a kid's life. :)
