It's February so we are having fun here on Sepia Saturday and this week our theme image shows people having fun at an amusement park back in the 1920s. You can interpret the theme in any way you want to; the only things you need to do are (a) have fun, and (b) post a post on or around Saturday 10th February 2024 and add a link to the list below. And, seeing as you are having so much fun, take a look at what's to come.

I have no idea why I was having so much trouble posting my entry correctly? So sorry it took 3 tries, but I guess Ella's story is worth it. Geez Louise! :)
No blog post for me this week, but wanted to apologize for being so late with comments on last week's Sepia Saturday blog posts. Experienced Internet issues (modem failure) and had some techno-fun getting the new one hooked up. But all is well now and I'll be back next week :-)
Fun down the generations is my theme for the week from my granddaughter to her ggg grandfather - all enjoying themselves in various ways.
I recently found more information about the 1930's German Americans and how they had "fun" - first a national movement, then pics of the ROTC groups in high school for my mother and father in San Antonio TX.
What a fun prompt this week.
La Nighingail, I can never log on to comment on your blog so I'll say here that I enjoyed your story of Ella.
I have another great match for this theme. Musical, of course, and as usual, long but I hope still entertaining. There's a treat at the end.
While normally participating from my Greetings from the Past blog, today I chose to post on my other blog, as the matching photos and memories that came to mind for me are "my own" rather than to do with my ancestors.
And oops, it seems I posted two links. No 8 is the right one. (Ignore No 9, that has nothing to do with Sepia Saturday and I have no idea how it came to be posted.)
