Figuring the prompt photo would be late again this week (?), I went ahead with a Halloween theme of my own. Then the prompt pic' showed up finally, and I realized I had a couple of perfect photos to match it, hence two entries this week. :)
I needed to put together two thoughts...earlier in the week. It took a bunch of research for the second idea, combing through my ancestors. The first was a nice article republished. Just where my thought went. Hope someone else is also interested...
I have a match this for this weekend's theme. Kind of. But it would really be easier if we had more advance notice. Could we return to the two week offer on upcoming themes, Alan?

I remember those pleated skirts with straps - so a look down memory lane with my childhood clothes in the 50's and beyond.
