This week we have a line of rather nice cars, gathered together in not very nice circumstances. The cars were seized in 1942 by the Canadian Government and were originally the property of Canadian citizens of Japanese origins. For our purposes, they are cars, a line, a road, a telegraph pole, a wet Thursday afternoon - or whatever visual clue you can find in this archive photograph to form the basis of your Sepia Saturday 477 post. When you have identified a potential theme, and posted your post, add a link to the list below. And whilst you are waiting for the motorcade to set off, take a look at the next couple of Sepia Saturday theme images.
A cavalcade of cars, dating back to 1908 from my family and my local history.
All kinds of cars everywhere!
Continuing the saga of my Blakeslee ancestors’ divorce with: The ‘widowhood” of Hannah (Hance) Blakeslee...
Remembering a picnic and some cousins, and my father in St. Louis
I believe I have a pretty good match for our theme. It's toward the end of the post. Non-musical and colorful too, for a change.
I have road trips on my mind at the moment...
Cars lined up at the family reunion
I didn't have a line of cars but did have one that was the right era.
