Sepia Saturday 555 : 30 January 2021

I don't know about where you live, but where I live there has been a lot of water falling over recent days. Although this isn't very pleasant, at least it is suitable because our Sepia Saturday theme image this week is celebrating the letter W and is a waterfall. Of course, you can ignore the waterfall, you can even ignore the water, and you can go with wafers, waists or wickets. You can go with whatever w you want. Just give us an old photograph and a few new thoughts, post your post on or around Saturday 30th January 2021, and add a link to the list below. Wonderful. And whilst we worry about what to do, why not see what is around the corner, wonce we have walked away from all these w's.

An escapist travelogue of rivers and waterfalls in the beautiful Scottish Borders and the Yorkshire Dales National Par in England. Enjoy!

Waterfalls here, there, & everywhere from a cemetery to an icy Alaskan bay.

X marks the spot where my gg grandmother Christina (Albeitz) Stoutner landed in NYC from Germany circa 1865. The question is, on what date?

No waterfall, but a body of water the Great South Bay, off Long Island, NY!

This weekend I have no waterfalls, but water does feature in my story. It's the second in what I've decided will be a 3-part series on the great Norwegian violinist, Ole Bull.

No waterfalls in my collection so I went out and took some not so old photos of a local waterfall while on holidays.
