We are still at school here on Sepia Saturday and asking you to share your old photographs that somehow or other might fall within the general theme of "School Days". This week we have a group of school pupils at a Sports Day, but that is merely my interpretation of the theme - you can come up with your own, When you have, post your post on or around Saturday 19th August 2023 and add a link to the list below. Nightingale, I couldn’t comment on your blog. Some problem with my browser. I loved all the smiles on your many college graduates.
Uncle Fred has finished school and entered young adulthood while registering for the WWII draft in 1940.
A design which is no longer used due to its connection to Nazis. But in 1933-34 a High School ROTC and the supporting "sponsors" wore uniforms.
Nothing about school here. My grandfather's time on a ship in the Great Lakes.
I have another school photo but it's a little different from other musical photos.
