Here we are, the middle of winter, and the old fool who picks the prompt images is still putting up pictures of jolly people sat on holiday beaches. What's it all about, you might rightly ask? Well the same old fool is still sat on a Caribbean beach, toying with some of the major problems facing humankind: do I look silly in this straw hat?; should I order another ice-cold beer?; who on earth is this lady leaning on my shoulder? The answers to all these problems may well become clear when he gets back to his miserable and cold homeland - whilst you are waiting for the said answers you might want to plan your Sepia Saturday post for this week. Post your post on or around Saturday 7th March 2020 and add a link to the list below. And don't forget to brush the sand from between your toes.
All the March theme images come from my own collection of weird and wonderful old photographs of unknown provenance. Here is a preview of the next two in the sequence:-

The obvious response from me, with happy seaside family memories - and a musical introduction to set the scene.
Guys flanked and/or surrounded with gals from multiple branches of the family tree!
A strange view of a group of boy gathered to bury a man with an even stranger name.
A man surrounded by women...the perfect prompt for a post about my gg grandfather's first two wives (circa 1855-65).
My vintage Kansas photos don't happen to include anyone at the beach, but I found one group featuring a man with three females.
Do this hack to drop 2 lbs of fat in 8 hours
Over 160,000 women and men are trying a simple and SECRET "liquids hack" to drop 2 lbs each and every night as they sleep.
It's painless and it works with everybody.
Just follow these easy step:
1) Go grab a glass and fill it up half glass
2) Now do this crazy hack
you'll become 2 lbs skinnier in the morning!
I think I have this theme covered. It's a longer story which I've turned into a two-part series. Musical of course, but I think everyone will enjoy the photos.
I went with the "jolly" rather than the beach theme :)
yeah, it's Sepia Sunday for me.
Generations of Water Play - Growing up with water
This week’s prompt Faces On The Beach had me exclaiming, in my broadest possible Australian accent “Where’s the beach? All I can see are pebbles and rocks!”
The young people do seem jolly enough but they obviously haven’t seen the golden sands and sparkling surf of real beaches.
