Oh dear! I have a confession to make. I have forgotten where I got this archive image from! It could be anywhere : anyone with a box-full of old photographs will have a similar shot in their collection. Such a photograph is as much a part of a wedding as a cake, a top hat, or a bunch of flowers. So my challenge for Sepia Saturday 126 is an easy one - give us a group, give us a wedding, give us a top hat - or give us anything at all. Just post your posts, on or around Saturday the 19th May and link the posts using the list below. Try and stop by and visit as many of the others taking part as possible and .... help yourself to a glass of champagne.
While you sip your bubbly you might want to think ahead to the next two Sepia Saturday challenges. Here is a sneak preview of the archive images.
Well that will give you something to think about. But you can think about all that later, for the moment get to your places, stand still and smile for the camera.

This has to be the earliest I’ve ever posted, but as I’m on my travels for a few days it was good to be ahead of the game. Having the prompt early certainly helped. For the same reason I’ll probably be late next week! I will use the iPad to comment on other’s posts.
It's from the National Library of Ireland: April 29, 1907 wedding party of Emily Blanche Watts & Thomas Francis Buckley (more details here).
Thanks Rob.
From the Crimea to Brisbane, but no Fred Astaire.
Hi went ahead and linked up my post though I will most likely add some names to it later. Mom said that she had to get out her magnifying glass and take a closer look, because she hadn't remembered seeing these particular pictures before and has never known Granny to drink beer, lol.

Spooky coincidence - 19th May is my Wedding Anniversary - but as such we are away for the weekend so doubt I'll get chance to post.
I know where my group of people is, but I don't know anything else about the picture.
Fun theme this week! Can't wait to see what everyone shares.
We have Sepia guests this weekend and therefore my post is early and my visitations may be late.
I have plenty of groups but no hats.
I'm a new comer and am enjoying the themes. I wish I had more sepia photos to add to the fun, but alas my farming family didn't take many. I've learned from my friends Nancy and Barbara how to really look at these scenes...I missed so much with the casual glance and am now enjoying sort of "inserting" myself into the photos.
I'm in!
As you'll probably see, I had a lot of fun with this theme Alan. I was worried that I'd run out of time, and post a day early because we have a wedding out of town tomorrow, and I'm bringing two little ones who will be in the wedding and my day is pretty well weddinged up! I know weddinged isn't a word...but you know what I mean! Enjoy your weekend too!
An old class photo. Perhaps it will all seem very familiar even though you don't know these kids.
My sisters wedding in 1960; in Switzerland; nothing grand, but it was a happy day!
I've missed a good few Sepias but hopeful I'm now back in the groove with hats and weddings.
I ought to have some wedding band photos but alas, it is a sub-genre I have not picked up, yet!
So my submission is about hats, specifically top hats in Scarborough.
This is my first time posting for Sepia Saturday. My photo may not include hats, but it is a group, albeit a somewhat small one. Thanks for the opportunity to share!
My point of view on marriage.
A short post, for a change...
;)~

Weekend guests showing up early tomorrow morning, well actually now this morning, so I just threw my entry together! At least I actually got something in.
I'm on theme this week with a wedding photograph :o)
I am also on theme with a wedding this week
Ah, I was terribly busy yesterday and I forgot to put up my post! I'm up now with another wedding photo. :-)
No wedding but plenty of posing in fancy dresses and hats.
There is a solitary top hat in my post this week
I'm in too - just. Fond memories of a dog and a piano, well, nearly :-)
I've posted another repost, but appropriate for the theme. Thanks everyone for all your support. :)
Your folks are sure dressed for a big hoopla. I had several but choice the little fellas.

Wasn't sure I'd have time this weekend, but managed to squeeze in a short post.
This weekend sure was full (out of town weddings tend to do that) but I'm catching up on round two now for those I missed!
