It's celebration time here on Sepia Saturday. I'm not quite sure what we are celebrating but the flags are out and the bunting lines the streets. What do we do when we celebrate - we get our cameras out and take pictures of the events. It is those pictures - taken any time over the last 150 years - that we are celebrating here on Sepia Saturday this week. Simply post your posts on or around Saturday 20th June 2026 and add a link to the list below .... and join in the celebration of the history of photography of, and by, the people.

Crazy signs that make you scratch your head. And by the way, Happy Frather's Day!
Happy Summer Solstice, and Father's Day for all you dads. (In the UK do you celebrate?) Hopes for a better future!
I'm (re)posting an old Swedish postcard from around 1902 with a midsummer pole included, and *probably* written at midsummer, too.
I'm not exactly on theme but I did find a photo that could connect to the idea of a civic celebration. Musical of course.
