 Two speed boys scootering away to who knows where! This photograph reminds us that special times don't have to be high-ticket affairs surrounded by champagne and glitter; special times can just as easily be when we are enjoying ourselves. This week on Sepia Saturday we are asking you to share such special times with the rest of the world. Our celebration of special occasions continues with a presentation. I have no idea what the presentation was for: a retirement; an arrival; a promotion; an achievement ... who knows. That is the thing about old photographs, they only tell part of a story leaving it to shared history - or vivid imagination - to fill in the blanks. We are celebrating special times this month on Sepia Saturday and this week we have a celebratory cake. The photograph is from my own family collection but I must confess that I know neither what the occasion was, nor who the to ladies concerned were. It doesn't really matter, the image is a good one and it serves as an invitation to share your old photographs on (or off) the theme of Special Times.
