Our celebration of special occasions continues with a presentation. I have no idea what the presentation was for: a retirement; an arrival; a promotion; an achievement ... who knows. That is the thing about old photographs, they only tell part of a story leaving it to shared history - or vivid imagination - to fill in the blanks. We are celebrating special times this month on Sepia Saturday and this week we have a celebratory cake. The photograph is from my own family collection but I must confess that I know neither what the occasion was, nor who the to ladies concerned were. It doesn't really matter, the image is a good one and it serves as an invitation to share your old photographs on (or off) the theme of Special Times.
