Sepia Saturday 476 : 29th June 2019

Gone fishing, instead of just a-wishing. What better way to spend a sunny afternoon than doing a spot of fishing. And where better to do it than at the Old Weir in Killarney, Ireland? When you are fishing through your old photographs, keep an eye open for fish, chips, boats, nets, rivers, rods and people sitting on stone walls. Whichever old photograph you find, feature it in a post, and then post your post on or around Saturday 29th June 2019, and add a link to the list below.

Whilst you are waiting for a bite, take a look at what is around the next bend of the river.

Oops! I don't know why my first link did not work, but here now is my post with a bit of everything in it - a boat, some local history and family memories.

I think I have a tongue-in-cheek match for this theme. Musical of course. Stay on to the end for the family mystery.

Here's the link to Scot Sue's post ...at least once I got there I copied this one...which of course comments won't do links, so here you can cut and paste it.

It's amazing that you've kept Sepia Saturday going for these many years, Alan. Well done!

A big thank you to Barbara for identifying that my second link was also not working (it did initially when I posted it) and for giving the correct link here. Hopefully my third attempt is more successful. I too could not access Dawn's post - so thank you for that as well.
