Sepia Saturday 430 : 4th August 2018

Sepia Saturday 430 : 4th August 2018
Reclining Man And New York Subway Station (A B Phelen, 1910)
ILLUSIONS  :  TRICK PHOTOS  :  BIG AND SMALL

You know what it is like - sometimes you just wake up in the morning and everything seems wrong: out of proportion, upside down or back to front! For well over 100 years photographers have been mimicking this feeling by using the tricks of the camera and the darkroom. Now is your opportunity to share such photographs from your collection. If you don't have any, just choose something that illustrates big and small, light and dark or any kind of contrasts. And if all else fails, just share an old photograph. All you need to do is to share it on or around Saturday 4th August 2018 and add a link to the list below.

Here is what lies around the Sepia Corner

I wish I still had the photos of a crafty experience I shared with my grands, but I have some dribs and drabs still to give you the gist of the project.

I went with crossed paths (the subway, the sidewalk, the man facing one direction, the woman another) and how my family of origin crossed paths with areas where my Bull ancestors lived without knowing it.

Yet another great theme for which I've got a perfect match. This time non-musical, but still showbiz.

I discounted photo effects, men’s hats, and architectural domes, so take you here on a tour of subway systems in places I have visited.
