Old photographs are a treasure map, but nobody tells you what the treasure actually is. You've got to search for it - and when you find it you will know. The treasure in this week's Sepia Saturday Call image might be the wooden ark or the remarkably unrealistic wooden animals. It might be the headscarf or it might be the look on the face of that man on the left hand side of the photograph. Further more, what is treasure to one person might not be worth a passing glance to someone else. There are no right or wrong answers when it comes to old photographs. Here, on Sepia Saturday, we ask you to share your own treasure maps on or around Saturday the 8th August 2026 and leave a link on the list below. I spotted a cow entering the ark - my cue to show more cows in the Scottish Highlands, Austrian Tyrol and Warsaw.
