My Sepia Saturday theme image this week is a bit of a mystery. It is from my own collection and is simply captioned "B&C Male Voice Choir 1918". I have no idea what the "B" and the "C" stand for, but I am intrigued by the fact that so many able bodied men, not in uniform, have been able to gather together, given the date is 1918. The mystery of the male voice choir may never be solved but that doesn't matter - the picture provides us with a chorus of potential themes for your old photographs this week. There are choirs, there are groups, and there are mysteries. If none of those suit you, you can always choose the year - 1918. Whatever your choice, just post your post on or around Saturday 4th April 2026 and add a link to the list below. And then take a look at what is still to come here on Sepia Saturday.

Lineups of many, lineups of a few. Some serious, some funny, some nostalgic. :)
A varied selection of photographs of people in rows - families, friends, workers and people having fun - but no soliders in sight who I have featured many times before in rows.
No photos connected to the suggested theme this week, sorry. So I just offer what's in my environment. And that includes the internet! Alan, have fun in Wales!
I'm linking another post from my "time travel" series from Germany back in 1983. The connection to the Sepia theme is a stretch - possibly I could claim that that big choir seems to be sitting/standing in front of an old building. Not that many people in my post; but several old buildings, and old colour photo prints almost faded to sepia...
I offer part two of my series on the Art of War. Sadly no Easter eggs or men's choirs, but I hope some will find it interesting.
