Sepia Saturday 461 : 16 March 2019

Our Sepia Saturday theme image this week is an energetic affair with arms, limbs and bodies moving all over the place. It comes from the Flickr stream of the National Library of Australia and it features square dancing at Earl's Court Ballroom, St Kilda, Victoria in 1950. All you need to do is to listen to the rhythm, dance along with the beat, take your partner and find a matching photo from your collection. Once you have, include it in a blog post, and post your post on or around Saturday 16th March 2019. Then add a link to the list below.

Whilst you are waiting for the music to start, take a look at what pictorial dances lie ahead.

Not exactly a party over in Zebulon Blakeslee's corn field in 1850...but his other occupations probably kept him hopping much like these dancers.

Swing your partner and let the dancing begin!

I think I found a way to match this lively theme. Musical of course.

Are you ready for a blast from the past? Come on over and I'll dance you through the 1960's.

I had hoped to finish this series by now and get in on the joyfulness of this prompt and the next, but an infection got me down, and I got behind. Just one more to go, though ... I think.
