Sepia Saturday 457 : Saturday 16 February 2019

We have all sorts going on in this week's Sepia Saturday theme images: windows, reflections, women, men, shops .... you name it and you can blog it. The photograph comes from the collection of the George Eastman Museum on Flickr Commons and is by the French photographer Eugene Atget (1857-1927). All you need to do is to come up with your own interpretation of a match and post your post on or around Saturday 16th February 2019 and then add a link to the list below.

Whilst you are window-shopping through your collection of old photographs, you might want to consider the next two Sepia Saturday theme images.

"Elise" (aka Elsie Oldham) was a 1920's hairdresser who adopted a French name to give her business some edge!

Retail businesses want me to look through their windows. OK.

Glad to be back after a longer break than anticipated! This week I am re-posting one of my most visited blogs "A Valentine's Day Love Story: My Grandmother Elopes" with a photo of her in a dress similar to this week's prompt.

Window shopping has always been a favorite thing to do - whether I had the money to go on inside and actually buy something, or not!

I'm going with the window theme and using a photo I think fits very neatly. Musical of course.

Oh la la!!! That's about all the French I speak. I'm some better at Spanish and got to say Ola Amigos and Amigas last Saturday while in Mexico.
