Sepia Saturday is 600! We celebrate the occasion with a celebration of photographers; and a photograph of the Australian, Sam Hood, whose photographs have graced many a Sepia Saturday theme image over the years.
Two (photo) postcards from historically interesting places, and written in a historically interesting context (the outbreak of WWI in 1914). (Continuing to explore the postcards from my great-aunt Gerda, the travelling lady's maid, to her brother Gustaf in Sweden.)
My maternal grandmother may have been the camera-toting photographer on some photos of my Italian ancestors -- plus my infant mom makes a 1926 cameo appearance.
Thank you, Alan. It's a great theme choice and I do believe I have a few good matches for this theme. Non-musical for a change and from my family archives.
