We are celebrating here on Sepia Saturday: celebrating Christmas, celebrating our love of old photographs and celebrating the fact that Sepia Saturday has been plodding along for another year. You can celebrate too by sharing your old photographs on or around Saturday 14 December 2024 and adding a link to the list below. And here is our final prompt of 2024, and soon there will be news of what will be happening in 2025.
I'm writing another (gasp!) blog now, Open Yesterday's Pages, so that's this week's historic submission for SS! Tis the time of storms!
ReplyDeletePicnics are always fun! :)
ReplyDeleteChristmas photographs are rare in the my family - no flash camera available. So I have looked back at my uncle's Christmas meal in France in 1939. A poignant flimsy menu, signed by his colleagues is a reminder of this occasion.
ReplyDeleteI'm all out of picnic photos so instead I've taken to the air with more paper airplanes. Not musical for a change.
