Busy times continue on Sepia Saturday in June and this week we are busy on the sands. Here at Sepia HQ the sun has just come out for the first time in what feels like six months, so I am tempted to head for the seaside. Before I go off to find my bucket and spade there is just time enough to invite you to take part in Sepia Saturday 729 by posting your old photos on or around Saturday 22 June 2024 and adding a link to the list below. Once you've done that you can settle down in your deck chair and take a look at what lies ahead here on Sepia Saturday.
I was delighted to see this vintage prompt photograph of a Blackpool, as I was born there. No crowd scenes in my collection unfortunately, but a profile of this popular north west seaside town and my family connections.
ReplyDeleteThings can't always stay the same, but I sure wish they could!
ReplyDeleteFrom Scotsue- I have had an email from a regular contributor to say she has been unable to comment on my blog post. I have tried mysel as Anonymous and with my URL but get an error message when I try to publish. Nothing has changed on my settings, so haven’t a clue what is going on . Hopefully just a glitch!
ReplyDeleteI should have added, my post is also published on my Susan Donaldson Facebook page. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteBack at the beach, and looking at the background of Galveston TX and my ancestors who lived there.
ReplyDeleteI have run out of beach scenes so instead I've chosen two college class photos. Musical, of course.
