A picture of a happy couple - my parent's-in-law as it happens. But there is a small child in the background making sure he gets into the picture. Today we call this "photobombing": the word may be new, but the action is far from being new. For Sepia Saturday this week you can feature examples of vintage photobombing, or feature couples, or feature whatever you choose. Just share an old photograph and add a link to the list below on or around Saturday 27 August 2022. And whilst you are waiting for the child to get out of the way, take a look at the next couple of Sepia Saturday theme images.
To continue the "happy couples" theme" I pay tribute to generations of my family.
ReplyDeleteMy grandparents smiing in a faded way with daughter observing in the background.
ReplyDeleteSome collected family photos (only one is mine.)
ReplyDeleteOops, I'm in two, not just one!
ReplyDeleteNot really matching the theme this week, but I've been looking at addresses in Chicago where my great-aunt Gerda lived and/or worked in 1903-10. Google Street View perhaps not the best tool in looking for the past - but maybe not completely useless either!
ReplyDeleteNot really a match except for maybe the shape of the image. More musical art.
ReplyDeleteThank you to Barbara for letting me know my link is not working. I just don't know what the problem is as it works as a hyperlink in a Word document and I click the policy statement. Here is the link again: https://scotsue-familyhistoryfun.blogspot.com/2022/08/generations-of-happy-couples-sepia.html
ReplyDeleteProblem solved! Apparently somehow I was no longer signed up for Linky. My final Scotsue entry now works.
ReplyDeleteI am so very late again! I promise to do better next week. (I hope!)
