Our Sepia Saturday theme images for April are all taken from an album of old photographs which somehow came into my possession. I do not know the people featured in the album, but its owner was a cataloguer who normally provided a caption and a date. For this week, our theme image has a seaside theme - or rather a lakeside theme. The caption reads: "Joan and the Pedalo, Lake Maggiore, Italy 1947" There are all sorts of potential theme prompts - water, lakes, swimsuits, deckchairs .... you name it. Whatever you choose, post your post on or around Saturday 6th April 2019 and add a link to the list below. And whilst you are drifting around on an Italian lake, you might want to think about the next two theme images.

ReplyDeleteThere are many lakes and streams near Brookdale, PA -- where my Blakeslee ancestors moved in 1854. Alas, none of them made it into this week's post, but there is a nifty map.
