Sepia Saturday 451 : Saturday 5 January 2019

Big and small, smart and scruffy, light and dark, old and new ... contrasts are all the thing on Sepia Saturday this week. The theme photograph was taken in the early 1960s by Colman Doyle and shows the American model, Linda Ward, posing in Winetavern Street, Dublin. The photograph can be found on the Flickr stream of the National Library of Ireland.

However you decide to follow the theme image, follow it on or around Saturday 5th January 2019 and add a link to the list below. Here are the next two theme images, so you can start thinking about them in advance.

  4. The closest I can come to the prompt is "role model" as I finish up my series with a fond farewell to my fourth grade teacher Miss George. After that I am taking a break for a couple of weeks, but expect to be back later in January with new posts. Happy New Year everyone!

  7. My contribution this weekend is kind of a match I think. Musical of course, and to start the year, it's a BIG story, but one I hope is worth the read.
