Sepia Saturday 433 : 25th August 2018
William Robyn, Singer (Bain News Service c.1920)
MUSIC : SINGERS : GRAMOPHONE : RECORDS
Our theme this week will be music to the ears of some of our regulars. For the record, I am still on the high seas, but in my absence you can sing the praises of one of your old photographs which may - or may not - be related to our theme image this week. All you need to do is to post your post on or around Saturday 25th August 2018, and add a link to the list below.
Here is a quick look at what awaits us in the first part of September. More details when I get back.
Oopsie! Where is 'Mr. Linky's Magical Widgets' so we can post our Sepia Saturday entries?
ReplyDeleteMr Linky has been pinched! In the meantime, my post is here:
ReplyDeleteI went with "records" -- although not the turntable kind. Mine are probate records for my gg grandfather Arthur T. Bull here: http://mollyscanopy.com/2018/08/1890-settling-arthur-t-bulls-estate/

Not on topic, but since the links are kind of going crazy, I'll give a post that does have B & W photos, and relates to a lot of our grandmothers. https://boardwalkbarb.blogspot.com/2018/08/when-women-were-cooking-finally-on.html
ReplyDeleteI hope some more people drop by and give their links. I'll be looking at them this week in spare moments.
