Our Sepia Saturday theme this week seems to be bedroom photographs, but before you start checking you "safe search" filters, let me assure you it is pictures of bedrooms - or, indeed, any other room that you care to mention. This being Sepia Saturday, you are free to manipulate the theme to fit any particular old photograph you are wanting to share; so it could be pictures of people asleep, pictures of carpets or four poster beds. All you need do is to share an old photograph on or around Saturday 28th February 2026 and add a link to the list below. And then, before you drift off to sleep, take a look at what March has in store here on Sepia Saturday.

Fiber art - a quilt show with many messages - beyond just warm bedding!
ReplyDeleteCue for me to look back on a ẃeekend break in a hotel in the banks of Loch 'Awe in the Scottish Highlands - peaceful and relaxing with some friendly "neighbours".
ReplyDeleteMaster bedrooms from everywhere.
ReplyDeletePlaying tourist with my great aunt Gerda at Versailles in 1932 (a collection of old postcards, including some famous bedrooms)
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure if I had any more bedroom photos, but I found one postcard with a bed, so it inspired a story with a quartet of picture postcards. Musical and pretty, too.
