Sepia Saturday 674 : Saturday 27 May 2023

I know we've had dogs, I suspect we've had birds, and maybe there was a stray cow or sheep here and there, but I'm not sure if we';ve had cats as a theme on Sepia Saturday before. This is the week for all you cat lovers to seek out your old photographs that may (or, as this is Sepia Saturday, may not) be linked to cats. Just share your photos on or around Saturday 27th May 2023 and add a link to the list below.

We've had enough of this rhyming nonsense, so let's get rid of the words and leave it up to you to define the theme, based on the theme images. Here are the next two theme images.

Sepia Saturday 673 : 20 May 2023

This week we find ourselves with bats as our theme image. The chap who determines these weekly themes seems to have got himself stuck in a rhyming time-warp, and for this I apologise. However, we should be thankful, I guess, that it is bats and not rats; although the latter might still be around the sepia corner. Anyway, do what you can with bats, and do it on or around Saturday 20th May 2023. When you have done it, add a link to the list below.

Once you have hit this theme out of the park, you can spend a bit of time thinking about the themes to come,

Sepia Saturday 672 : Saturday 13 May 2023

You've got to take your hat off to Sepia Saturday contributors. Whatever the prompt, whatever the obscure image I come up with, they always seem to find images to match. This week I am asking them to think about hats - bit hats, small hats, colourful hats, hats with flowers on them - any kind of hat they want. Just take a hat, feature it in a post, post that post on or around Saturday 13th May 2023, and add a link to the list below. It's as easy as that (which rhymes with hat). And here are some other things that rhyme with hats - are next theme images.

Sepia Saturday 671 : Saturday 6 May 2023

The thing about Sepia Saturday is, that it is a bit like going for a ride in a bus to an unknown destination. You jump on board, not knowing where you might be heading, but determined to enjoy the ride. And this week on Sepia Saturday, it is the ride itself that provides us with our theme. You can jump on or jump off whenever you please - the theme, after all, is a vague direction rather than a precise destination. Just buy a ticket, and post your posts on or around Saturday 6th May 2023 and add a link to the list below. And whilst you wait for the bus conductor to come, take a look at the themes coming up in the next few weeks. Any more fares, please!
