Sepia Saturday 293 : 22 August 2015

Whilst you think about your submission for Sepia Saturday 293 (post your post on or around Saturday 22 August 2015) I will be sat in some cafe in the old town of Prague, drinking the finest Czech Pilsner beer whilst the Good Lady Wife has gone off shopping. Whilst you look ahead at what is to come in the next week or two, I will be looking ahead to an evening trip down the Vltava River. Ah, such is life. Good luck to you all.

Eating Out Memories is my theme this week - how many strike a chord with you? Keep scrolling down and you will reach some photographs.

We are so lucky to have such a wide variety of places to catch a good meal in our town!

ACH!! I had some trouble with blogger in writing this week's post, so had a number of drafts on the go. Unfortunately on thinking I was on my Drafts Page, I went and deleted the final version I had actually posted. So my first link no longer works. But thank goodness I had these other drafts and so my version is restored here. A call for more haste, less speed I think!

A canteen, yes, but of a different ilk. And, Sue, I had trouble with Blogger this week, too! All my copy within white strips (kinda like an old telegram)! Hope they fix that soon...

I thought this theme would be impossible and then I thought about tables and chairs and Alan enjoying a liter stein of Czech lager.
Prost!

Reacquainted myself with an old favorite - straight out of the can Chicken Noodle Soup. Blogging, with a hot mug o'soup at hand...well, it doesn't get much better than that. M'm M'm good.

I have had such trouble writing my post this week as the editor wasn't holding the images in place so that the text made sense. Now I realize ScotSue obviously wanted some company in her misery :-) and chose me. A distinct lack of historic cafe images for me.

I can't seem to get my cafeteria memories together, so off topic with my aunt's baby shoes this week.
